The Universal Currency Converter allows you to perform interactive
foreign exchange rate conversion on the Internet. Type the amount
of source currency in the input box. You may include commas and
a decimal point. Select the source and destination currencies using
the scrolling selection boxes. Note that there are far more currencies
available than the initial four displayed. When you are finished,
push the "Perform Currency Conversion" button, and the
results of your conversion will be displayed. Note: Xenon Laboratories
can make no guarantees as to the accuracy of this information.
The Electronic
Shipping Guide on the Web
The ESG is a database of container shipping schedules for voyages
in and out of the U.S. and Canada, including import, export, connecting
and feeder service. The schedules in the ESG are obtained from the
carriers themselves. We maintain and verify the ESG database on
an ongoing basis to ensure high accuracy. However, please confirm
dates with your carrier prior to booking.
The
World-Clock
The World Clock is now showing 120 places around the world. The
times displayed may not be correct due to some summertime/daylight
savings time I haven't heard about. The shown time will probably
be one hour more or less of the real local time there. The page
is calculated from the www.stud.unit.no server clock so if the server
clock is wrong, so will this page be, but it is usually within 1
second of the right world time.
How
far is it ?
This service uses the University
of Michigan Geographic Name Server and a supplementary database
of world cities to find the latitude and longitude of two places,
and then calculates the distance between them (as the crow flies).
It also provides a map showing the two places, using the Xerox PARC
Map Server
